Not in some cinematic, stars-aligned kind of way—
but more like my head was going to explode from everything I was seeing, sensing, feeling.

I had just moved from South Africa, where internet access was slow and limited, into a world of endless tabs, faster speeds, and a swirling ocean of digital everything.

I snapped.

I started vomiting sticky notes onto my apartment walls—pieces of a pattern I didn’t even know I was holding.

It wasn’t just ideas. It was a timeline.
A map of revolutions — each one building on the last — unfolding in front of me like a story I hadn’t realised I was decoding.

I didn’t know how I knew.
But I knew.

The Pattern Unfolding:

• Agricultural Revolution → Mass Cultivation
• Industrial Revolution → Mass Production
• Digital Revolution → Mass Connection
• Creative Revolution → Mass Creation

At the time:

• Facebook had just emerged.
• YouTube felt threatening to big brands.
• “Creators” weren’t a thing.
• Second Life had come and gone.
• The world was still reeling from post-9/11 fear.
• Decentralization was only a whisper.

But I could feel it.
Something was rising.
Something deeply personal. Deeply expressive.

We were on the brink of a world where everyone could create, share, build, and express — not just consume.
Where creativity was no longer reserved for the elite few, but became a form of identity, power, and freedom.

And now?

💥 We’re living inside it.

Everyone’s a creator.
Every business a brand.
Every idea, product, or thought — instantly shareable.
And AI? It’s only going to multiply the speed, reach, and accessibility of it all.

But here’s the thing…

That same feeling is back.
That electric sense that something big is shifting again.

Not on the surface —
Underneath.
Not just in tech —
In us.
